1- Richard Branson’s first business venture was a magazine called " The Student" which he ran from the crypt of a church.
2- He started operating his record business from the same spot, and traded under the name “Virgin” at the suggestion of one of his early employees because they were all new at business.
3- He made several world-record breaking attempts and broke a few records including the fastest crossing of the Pacific from Japan to Arctic Canada in a balloon.
4- He owns Virgin Galactic,a company that plans to provide sub-orbital spaceflights to space tourists.
